The bride wore River Organics!

makeup wedding

Krysta and Chris put on a fantastical picnic held on the ski hill, McCauley Mountain in Old Forge, NY where the bride grew up.

The couple and their guests were adorned with all natural/not died and cruelty free feathers to watch them take flight on their journey of love. The chairlift was made available to ride high into the sky and take in the surrounding mountain views. On-hand were kites, activities like croquet, corn toss and board games within a the lodge decorated with vintage items and Tiffany lamps.

The bride wore a dress from Lillian West and wore a singular feathery head band purchased on Etsy rather than a vail along with feather hair pieces for all of her bridesmaids; a mix of vintage and new. Bridesmaids were gifted shawls to wear as their wings as well as herkimer diamond crystals mined by a friend. Herkimers are mined where the Krysta grew up and were important to the spiritial aspect of the wedding. A stone ceremony also took place, with loved ones placing hand picked stones in a vessel to make jewelry out of in the future.

The bride wore River Organics Dark Brow Tint, Highlighting stick, Blush in "Bloom", Petal Eye Shadow and Rose Gold Lip Balm. "Being someone who has never worn makeup it was a great way to wear make up to just enhance my features rather than feel like I was wearing tons of layers.  Now I wear your products when I go out etc. and feel comfortable...and made me realize you can wear it for skin care and beauty and not totally alter your natural look."

The evening ended on the mountain in the ski chalet with a pizza food truck and bluegrass music.

Thank you for sharing your blissful day with us Krysta!
