Step One: Base
This makeup look is all about appearing natural. Instead of using a heavy foundation, all you’ll need is a lightweight concealer like our Zero Waste Concealer. Infused with oils like apricot kernel, camellia seed, and moringa seed, this light coverage concealer is designed to conceal and protect your skin.
Using either your finger or a concealer brush, apply the concealer on blemishes, your under-eyes, or anywhere you want to detract attention.
Do you want more all-over coverage? Scoop out a small amount with your finger, warm it between your fingers, and blend it over your face. This formula is very lightweight, making it very buildable.
What is a soft spring makeup look without blush-pinched, dewy cheeks? Thankfully, we have five blushes and three highlighters to choose from, depending on your skin tone and your desired look.
Do you want a soft pink look? Dab our Vegan Blush Stick in Bloom on your cheeks for a rosy hint of color. Layer it with our Vegan Highlighter Stick in Rose Quartz for a dewy finish. Do you want a more sun-kissed, warm glow? Combine our Peachy blush with our Illumi highlighter to give you the perfect sun glow without a sunburn.
The best part about our blushes and highlighters? They’re all made with skin-protecting ingredients like organic shea butter, grapeseed oil, and rosehip oil. These ingredients work together to protect, soften, and hydrate your skin.
Eyebrows help bring attention to your eyes, accentuate your face shape, and can make or break your makeup look.
Use our Vegan Eyebrow Wax to tame and shape your brows. Once you select the shade that’s closest to your natural hair color, take our Bamboo Brush and roll the bristle side through the product. Then, swipe the brush through your brows in the direction of hair growth and shape them as desired.
Never underestimate the subtle beauty of a simple lash look. We make our Zero Waste Mascara with coconut oil and rhassoul clay for non-clumping, long-lasting effects.
Take a clean Bamboo Brush and roll the bristles through our mascara pot. Then, swipe the brush through your lashes until they are fully covered.
If you want to add color to your lids, dab on some blush from step two to your eyelids. This is a simple and easy way to make your makeup cohesive.
To use, open the cap and push the tube gently up from the bottom. Then, dab, swipe, or layer on the balm.
Now, you have created a makeup look that’s perfect for strolling your local gardens in springtime.

A small amount of sunlight is actually good for our skin. It helps our bodies produce vitamin D and can be helpful to those affected by Seasonal Affective Disorder. However, too much sun exposure can cause minor or major skin issues, especially for those with lighter skin tones.
Before and after sun skincare routines are essential for maintaining skin health and appearance.
The before sun care routine is arguably the most important routine. The best way to prevent sun damage is to protect and prepare beforehand.
The key is to find a cleanser that doesn’t strip your skin but removes impurities thoroughly. Use a cleanser with an oil base to help preserve moisture while lifting debris and makeup residue.
Next is to use a hydration booster serum. A serum with a humectant like hyaluronic acid or glycerin will help nourish your skin by preserving and attracting moisture.
Use a face oil that contains protective vitamins and nutrients. The Squalane Facial Oil contains cucumber oil, which has a high level of linoleic acid to help protect the skin barrier. It also contains vitamin E and açai berry, which fight against free radicals while offering anti-inflammatory benefits.
Finish your routine with your favorite SPF. We recommend using an SPF of 50 or higher to ensure the best sun protection.
If you want to wear makeup on your sunlit outing, it’s best to use makeup products that provide benefits for your skin. The Pink Vegan Blush Stick and Illumi Vegan Highlighter Stick are fortified with skin-protecting ingredients like shea butter and vitamin E and will give you a nice sun-kissed appearance.
After-sun care is important even without a sunburn. Our skin becomes dehydrated from prolonged sun exposure, so it's crucial to replenish your skin.
This step is for when you have a sunburn. Aloe vera is a powerful anti-inflammatory plant rich in essential vitamins. You can get aloe vera products at your local drugstore, or you can cut into an aloe vera plant and apply the gel directly to your skin.
It’s best to provide your skin with as much hydration as possible after sun exposure. Use a humectant serum or a skin barrier protectant like ceramide to keep moisture locked into your skin.
Next is to seal in your hydrating products with a face oil. The Aura Facial Oil contains antioxidants and vitamin E, which aid cell repair. It also has a blood-orange scent to help ease tension.
Don’t forget to take care of your lips! Our lips are sensitive to sun exposure so provide them with hydration when you can. The Bare Vegan Lip Balm is a hydrating and protective lip balm made with coconut oil, vitamin E, and cocoa seed butter.
Avoid the sun – Ultimately, it’s best to stay out of the sun for long periods. Try to avoid direct sunlight during midday.

Why did we chose a metal cap with an aluminum foil lining?
The benefits of metal recycling: Aside from the diversion of material from landfills, other important benefits of metal recycling versus the creation of virgin metal include a reduction in energy consumption as well as in the use of other materials. For example recycled aluminum requires 95 percent less energy, while copper needs 90 percent less, and steel 56 percent less. Source
The metal caps can be recycled. The recommended way to recycle small metal caps is as follows: Place these bottle caps in an aluminum soup can until it is half full. Then, crimp the top of the can so that the bottle caps are trapped.
Aluminum itself is one of the most recyclable — and indeed, one of the most recycled — materials around. According to the Aluminum Association, nearly 75 percent of all the aluminum produced in the US is still in use today, thanks to recycling efforts and the fact that it can be recycled again and again without its quality diminishing. To recycle the aluminum lining of the cap, please remove and clean before recycling it.
